A new year..
Bring it, 2013.
Quick look over the last couple week's WODs after the holiday season.
I ended up going to CF215 and playing with snatches for a while, just needed to move with a barbell.
Wasn't really feeling it and could not get warmed up. I hit a 165 snatch and could not do much more, shoulders just were not getting into the right spot at the catch.
I did a cash out on their dare of a 1 minute full blast on the AirDyne bike.
Holy crap that thing sucks ass. So terrible.
I did another at home workout the day after. Did some 300m row intervals.. then when I was about to shower I decided for shits to do my favorite recent challenge workout. 100 push ups for time.
I came out like a man on fire and PRd the fuck out of this. I did it in 3:39. PR by about 40 seconds.
My cousin told me he did it in 1:49 and I was so flabbergasted I had to try it again.
The next couple days (end of december) were sort of a mess workout wise. I was a little beat up from all the travel and took some extra rest days.
I got back and did
Arm Wrestling - 7 Minutes and change, forget the exact time. Just good to be back at FCF and workout out with people.
Friday morning (12/28) I did the "Liquid Awesome" workout modified a little.
I did 30 seconds of burpees as written but for the barbells I did a Power Snatch, then Squat Snatch, then OHS.
I worked up to 160, which is a power snatch PR. Boom.
I did like 130 Burpees. Grossness.
Took the weekend off to see some friends and go to parties. Win.

Squat Cleaned 245, missed on 255.. got stuck in the hole.
In Part 2, Ben and I did 41 reps of the complex I believe. So I did about 20 bear complexes at 165. I will take that any day. Rough one.
Missed New Year's Day and did some at home stuff, ran a little, did some pull ups and push ups for kicks.

Farmboy Sprints
Loved this one.
I did my best one in :59 and my slowest one in 1:05, which is good consistency. Mostly about the box jumps for timing and making sure I did not no-rep anything.

Buffalo Chicken
Woof, this was awful
Did all thrusters unbroken which was my goal and a big goat for me. Hevay thrusters are destrcution on the body.
I broke on the pull ups (8+4) in the second 2 rounds, and kept the row consistent around 1:50-1:55.. Good workout.

Pully System
With Jake, 17 Rounds + 3 Deads..
So all told, I did 9 round of 7 Deads at 225 and 200 m run. I will take 63 deadlifts at 225 and 1800m of sprints all day and twice on sunday. Cool WOD. My hammys will be trash tomorrow.

I got greedy today, oh well. Lesson learned. Fun day. Love snatches now.

Best Round 118 m, worst round 104 m. Yuck. My ass killed after this.
Should probably rest soon, but tomorrow's workout looks really fun.
