Rest Day.. Really sore from last night.. been too long since hitting deads and bench.. I LOVE them..
12.5 got released last night..
My feeling on it: "meh"..
I know we didn't pay CFHQ to be creative, just effective, but I was hoping for something a little more in my wheelhouse I guess.. I did this WOD last year, hated it then, and will probably hate it tomorrow too..
My memory from it was that the rounds of 3, 6, 9 are a piece of cake and then all of the sudden the walls come closing in and the rest is absolutely hellish.. I mostly just want to see if I can beat my score from last year which was 80 reps, I believe? At least that will prove how much better I have gotten. These movements are not enough of a strength of mine to expect to "move up the rankings" on the CFG site.. Just want to do it for benchmark purposes for my own growth..
Food -
5 am - Banana & Coffee
9 am - Veggie Omelet
Noon - Salad per usual with ground turkey burger, asparagus and avocado
Evening - Veal Chop dish from Marco's in the North End.. (woo Date Night!!)
