SWOD: Floor Press 5×5 & Ring Dips 3×10
This strength work was done superset style, sort of a fun change of pace.
I started light on the bench to warm up with 165 but went to 185 quickly and stuck there for the remainder of my sets. Triceps got tired very quickly from 2 sets of 10 ring dips.. for obvious reasons.. My arms felt cooked after this, really nice combo..
WOD- Run 1 Mile
30 squats 135/95
50 Sit ups
50 Double unders
Ahh.. one of those days.. a lousy double under day.. bad omen for the weekend Throwdown..
Ran the mile in 7:30.. didn't push too hard.. Just kept a nice pace so my legs would work somewhat..
Squats I ended up going 10,12,8.. Should have done 15,15 looking back.. but it was tough to get my legs going after the run.. Sit ups went as fast as I could go, but those get slow after a little bit as always.. Double unders, FUCK YOU.. On this day.. I could not get double unders going for the life of me.. all the way up to 50 was basically sets of 2 and 3.. with one set of 10 sprinkled in there. Sucked..
