SWOD - Press Complex
5 rounds of 1 Press, 3 Push press, 5 Jerk
Hit 115, 125, 135, 135, 140.. Tied my press PR... felt pretty good.. Could have potentially gotten a little more but the 5 jerks in a room tire me out.. This complex gets the heart rate up unexpectedly fast.. Love it..

I dropped from the prescribed weight of 115 on this because I wanted to really work on getting low and hitting the snatch properly, not just power snatching, pausing, then overhead squatting.. I feel like that is becoming a crutch for me and I want to avoid it even if it means using some unflattering weights..
I think I hit all 30 with essentially perfect form, which slowed me down quite a bit, but I was pleased with the result.. Also, this was really fucking tiring.. You need to be so focused on full snatches cuz of the balance in play.. Its an awesome lift when it hit it right and feels totally useless when you miss...
