Thursday July 21

SWOD: Overhead Barbell Carry
This is a fun strength skill.. I like to practice rack jerks, those are great, and the walk just makes it a pure core hold.. I love it.. Always tough to do in a big class though, gets bottlenecked fast...
I hit 205 again for the full walk.. I will try something heavier next time, no doubt.. 215 baby.. lets do it..

L arm KB squat snatch
R arm KB squat snatch
Calorie Row
Box Jumps 24/20

(one partner works at a time)

This was all kinds of sweaty awful messiness. I don't possess the shoulder flexibility to do a KB squat snatch without going crazy wide on my stance to the point of ugliness.. I hated this so much the entire time I was doing it.. Every rep was a chore.. the calorie row and box jump were fine..
Sad that I looked forward to the row each time.. that says something..
Ryan and I took 20:12 I believe, but I wasn't too concerned about time because I spent half of it resting and waiting on him, so it just wasn't a big concern for me whether we finished in 20 or 30 minutes, it was just a matter of doing it to completion.
