SWOD - Front Squat 3x5, 3x3

Hip had still tender so I went easy on this and tried to focus on just getting really nice depth and holding it for a second. Went for 155,165,165,175,175,175 for the 6 sets..  I didn't really test any limit of my strength on this one.. I would like to try to incorporate front squats a little more than back squats if I can in the future, they seem to make my form better, even if I give up some weight..

This was a team WOD where one partner had to complete all reps, tag the next in and they finished as well. I think I took around 7 minutes for this (didn't look at the clock, just tagged Brie in and then had to judge her reps so I never even got a chance) which I wasn't hugely happy with, wanted something more in the 5 min range. The first set of deadlifts went well, 16 then 5, which is good for me. The Box jumps I should have tried more of the rabbit jump but since we were doing games standard I sort of went slow and actually stood each one up and stepped down. The remaining deadlifts were like 5,5,5 then 3,3,3.. which is fine, but should be better at that weight.

Got a gnarly cut in the middle of my second set of box jumps.. hair and skin both left on the box itself... I won't miss another box jump for lack of focus again, that is for sure. Yikes.
